Welcome to My Colored Life. These terms explain how the service works and what we ask of you when you use it. By using mycoloredlife.com, you agree to these terms.

1. What we do

You upload your photos. We turn each one into coloring book line art, help you assemble a book, and send a print-ready file to our printing partner, who prints your book and ships it to you. We don't keep inventory — every book is made to order.

2. Your account

You can try the service without an account. To save a book and order it, you'll sign in with your email — we send a sign-in link, no password needed. You're responsible for keeping access to your email account secure.

3. Your photos

They stay yours. Uploading photos doesn't give us ownership of them. You give us permission to store them, process them, and use them to create your book — that's it. We don't use your photos for advertising, we don't share them with anyone except the services that help us make your book (image generation and printing), and we don't use them to train AI models.

You can delete them. You can delete your photos and books from your account at any time. Deleting a book removes its photos and artwork from our storage. Draft books that sit untouched for 60 days are deleted automatically.

You must have the right to use them. Only upload photos you took yourself or have permission to use. If other people appear in your photos, it's your responsibility to make sure they'd be okay with appearing in your book.

4. What you can't upload

We want every book to be something you're proud to give. A few kinds of photos won't work here:

• Photos with visible nudity — including innocent ones. We know bath time, skin-to-skin, and nursing photos are some of the sweetest pictures you have. But our system declines to process any photo with visible nudity or bare skin, no matter how innocent, with no exceptions. Swimsuits, towels, bubble-covered moments, and wrapped in a blanket are all fine.
• Photos you don't have rights to. No copyrighted images, no photos taken from the internet, no pictures of artwork or characters that belong to someone else.
• Photos of people who wouldn't consent. Don't upload photos of people to mock, harass, or expose them.
• Anything illegal. Content that is illegal to possess or distribute is refused, and where the law requires it, reported.

Our system checks photos automatically at upload. Sometimes it declines a photo that seems fine to you — when that happens, just swap in a different one. An automated decline is never an accusation.

5. Our right to refuse

We may decline to generate artwork, cancel an order, or close an account if content breaks these rules. If we cancel a paid order for a rules reason before it prints, we refund it.

6. About the artwork

The line art is drawn by an AI system from your photo. It's usually delightful and occasionally quirky. Here's what we promise and what we can't:

• Every page includes one free redraw if you don't love it. Extra redraws are $0.99 each, or 5 for $2.99, charged at checkout — never mid-flow.
• You review and approve every page before you pay. What you approve is exactly what prints — we never change your pages after you've reviewed them.
• We can't promise a specific artistic result. AI drawing has taste of its own, and likeness — especially faces — can vary. The review step exists so nothing surprises you.

7. Printing and shipping

Books are printed and shipped by our printing partner. Printing is made-to-order, so books generally arrive in about 2 weeks. Shipping is a flat rate per order: $4.99 US, $14.99 Canada.

Once a book is printed, it can't be un-printed — that's why the review and preview steps matter. If your book arrives damaged or with a printing defect, contact us and we'll make it right with a reprint.

8. Prices and payment

Prices are shown before you pay, and the checkout page lists everything: your book, any extra copies, shipping, and any redraw credits. Payment is handled by Stripe — we never see or store your card number.

9. What the service costs us to run

Each book generates real printing, shipping, and AI costs on our side. Order limits (like the cap on copies per order) exist to keep the service working for everyone.

10. Liability

We provide the service as described, and we stand behind print quality. But to the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect damages, and our total liability for any order is capped at what you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer protection law gives you and that can't be waived.

11. Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves. The date at the top tells you when they last changed. Meaningful changes will be flagged on the site.

Acceptable use — the short version

This is the compact version for linking from upload points and checkout. Same rules as section 4, warmer framing, scannable.

What makes a great book

Photos you took, of moments you love, with everyone dressed or wrapped for the page — swimsuits, pajamas, and a blanket are perfect; bath time, skin-to-skin, and nursing photos aren't. Our system automatically declines photos with visible nudity, even sweet innocent ones, with no exceptions. If a photo gets declined, it's not a judgment — just swap in another one.

Please don't upload photos you found online, images of characters or artwork that belong to someone else, or photos of people who wouldn't want to be in your book.

That's it. Everything else in your camera roll is fair game.
